Jersey City and Hoboken recently signed a new long-term contract for Citi Bike service. Under our previous agreement, the cities contributed operational funds that helped offset costs and keep New Jersey per-minute rates lower than New York City rates. Because the new agreement no longer includes that operational subsidy, per-minute rates in NJ will update on May 29, 2026.

Reduced Fare Bike Share Members

Nonmember Single Ride
- Single rides will remain $4.99 for up to 30 minutes on a classic bike.
- Ebike fees will increase to $0.41 per minute.
- Overage fees (classic and ebike) will increase to $0.41 per minute.
Nonmember Day Pass
- Day Passes will remain $25 per day.
- Ebike fees will increase to $0.41 per minute.
