Weekly Ride Series FAQ
Starting this June across several NYC neighborhoods, community members can join a group ride each week and try a Citi Bike
Free of charge. We hope to see you there!
Citi Bike is excited to bring back our Weekly Ride Series, an opportunity for community members to join a weekly group ride free of charge. Rides will be led down city streets and greenways on a weekly basis across 6 different neighborhoods (Jackson Heights, Bed-Stuy, Flatbush, Central Harlem, East Harlem, Brownsville). All Weekly Rides are designed to accommodate the relaxed pace of beginner and returning cyclists in order to increase riding confidence.
Through participation in this series, new riders will be introduced to the Citi Bike system, learn how to unlock and adjust a Citi Bike on their own, as well as basic rules and safety habits for riding in street traffic. The route for each ride in the series is pre-planned and guided by designated Ride Leaders.
Weekly Rides will begin the first week of June and end mid/late September.
